Frequently Asked Questions
This depends entirely on your level of motivation, goals, and challenges. Only 20-30% of the work happens in the coaching session and 70-80% happens outside of coaching. Accountability and momentum are key to the success of our program. While we understand the nature of executive dysfunction and try to be as flexible as possible, the effect of frequent session cancellations and failure to follow through with this work will offset your progress.
The short answer is no. However, if you suspect that you may have ADHD, seeking an official diagnosis can help to identify the cause of your executive dysfunction and give you a better idea of which executive function areas need the most attention.
While we do not take insurance directly, you may be able to use your Flexible Spending Account (FSA) or Health Savings Account (HSA) to help pay for our services. Please reach out to your provider for more information on their specific eligibility requirements and approval process. Weekly sessions are $125 and include check-ins via text and email, conversations with other professionals on your behalf, and an online client portal that manages your session content and coach-client communication.
Executive Function is the set of self-management skills that we use to organize our lives and accomplish our goals. At Lotus Coaching Services, we work to build executive function habits for organization, planning, time management, self-regulation, memory, attention, meta-cognition, cognitive flexibility, prioritization, and task initiation. The symptoms of ADHD are executive dysfunction, thus, improving these skills is essential to living a fulfilled and successful life with ADHD.
An Executive function/ADHD coach is a professional with coaching and/or counseling experience with expertise in ADHD symptom management. They help with managing the practical aspects of client's lives. My educational background and experience in mental health counseling, career coaching, and academic consulting, allow for a broad span of skills to support clients' personal, academic, and/or career goals.

Absolutely. Dr. Paula Michael Dass has over 18 years of career counseling experience supporting both neurotypical and neurodiverse college students and adults. Specialty areas include new graduates, mid-career transitions, entrepreneurs, and executive coaching. She also supports clients with their personal improvement plan (PIP) to overcome challenges in the workplace and maintain employment.
